Career Details As a Hospitalist Observation Medicine Medical Director with USACS, you'll be responsible for managing observation medicine services by collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your Physician staff. As a leader for both the hospital and US Acute Care Solutions, you will influence broad company decisions and help facilitate the development of new leaders. Career Details Oversee day-to-day management of the unitProvide leadership in the operations of the unitResponsible for peer review, quality assurance, provider staffingAssure quality patient experience by managing protocols and complaintsPractice Clinically Administrative Responsibilities Lead and organize all meetings to represent the Observation UnitResponsible for the supervision on the onsite Physician Staff by managing the day to day responsibilities of these CliniciansReport to the National Director of Observation ServicesMaintain improvement plans for any area not meeting expected benchmarksInvestigate quality referrals from the hospital quality committee Requirements Board certified in IM/FMA minimum of 3 years experience caring for hospital based patientsPrevious administrative experience desirable Compensation Excellent compensation package with an estimated employed W-2 range of $127.50/hour to $160/hour PLUS comprehensive USACS benefits, a 10% practice-funded 401k and USACS ownership stock.
