Primary Responsibilities:This Small Business market has customers employing from 2-50 employees:Manages the account management and/or the account service functionsManages to retention strategy and growth for existing businessAaccount management effectiveness in Small BusinessRecruits, trains, and coaches the account management staff for the Small Business local sales officeCould include maintaining a personal book of businessBusiness SavvyUnderstands complex concepts and situations presented by the business environmentQuickly assesses roadblocks to retention strategies and selects the appropriate solutionPossesses very solid consultative skillsImpact of DecisionsInfluences business by developing an effective account management teamDecisions made effect the profitability of the business segmentUnderstands our competitive position in the marketProduct Knowledge and ability to explain differences between products including competitor productsMakes recommendations for changes and can train others on skillsProject Management and Organizational SkillsLeads teams in any project related to the selling environmentGives directions and brings the project to fruitionDevelops work plans to effectively manage projectsTranslates business strategies and tactics into clear objectivesRelationship Building and InfluenceBuilds internal networks and consensus to shape decisions of middle-to-upper managementBuilds and maintains positive, constructive working relationships with senior levels as well as internal and external customersStrategic VisionUnderstands company's vision and mission linked to direct application of methods and plans to accomplish account management strategyRationalizes directives to accomplish day-to-day activity in a way that minimizes disruption to our customersImplements strategy and leads team to accomplish objectivesYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Sales insurance license maintained as required by state law3+ years supervisory experience, working with account management staff in a sales environmentProven track record in results-oriented account management and sales/service environmentDemonstrated expertise in account management and is knowledgeable of a full range of productsPossess a valid driver's licenseAbility to travelFull COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role.
