Data Architect Remote We're seeking an experienced Data Architect to define and evolve enterprise data architecture that enables trusted, scalable, and governed data across the organization. This role partners closely with business and technology leaders to establish modern data strategies, improve integration, and support analytics, reporting, and future AI initiatives. Location: First 1-2 months in Eau Claire, WI, can then transition to remote Salary: $140,000-190,000 DOE Benefits Health, dental, vision insurance Vacation, sick, and holiday paid time off 15% Annual bonus 401k match Education assistance Role & Responsibilities Develop enterprise data architecture, standards, and data models aligned with business strategy. Design scalable data platforms and integration patterns across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments. Lead data governance initiatives including data quality, lineage, metadata, and master data management. Partner with architecture, engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure consistent, secure, and accessible enterprise data. Provide architectural oversight for enterprise data initiatives while mentoring technical teams on best practices. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or enterprise architecture. 3+ years designing enterprise-scale data architecture. Strong expertise in data modeling, data integration, data warehousing, and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, or similar). Experience working in complex, regulated enterprise environments. Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and modern analytics ecosystems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders.
