Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching. Plan individual and group age‑appropriate activities to engage children and support social, cognitive, and emotional growth. Maintain frequent communication with parents through discussions, progress reports, and parent‑teacher conferences. Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met. Maintain a healthy classroom environment, including hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and security of children. Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure planned activities, hygiene and safety standards are followed. Maintain accurate records, forms and files. Maintain personal professional development plan for continuous quality improvement. Requirements Positive, reliable work ethic Passionate about working with children Meets/exceeds licensing requirements: TB test, background check, health screening. Physical ability to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong understanding of child development. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Nice to Haves Experience in early childhood education or related field. Hold CDA or other associate's degree or higher.
