Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs in line with state practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for holistic care
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
- Active South Carolina PT license or the ability to obtain one before starting
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
- A genuine passion for helping others regain their independence
Education
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

- Physical therapy evaluation and treatment
- Patient assessment and treatment planning
- Medical documentation and recordkeeping
- Supervision and delegation to PTAs
