Veterinary Technician Salary: $22 - $25 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. $1,500 Sign On Bonus! Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available. * Part-Time (22.5-29 hrs/week): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday * Full-Time (35-40 hrs/week): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday Shift times are as follows: * Monday - Wednesday: 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM * Friday: 1:30 PM - 7:00 PM * Saturday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM The Highlands Veterinary Hospital is hiring a full-time or part timeCertified Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Technician to provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. KeyResponsibilities:  * Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery. * Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion. * Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates * Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement. * Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing. * Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready. * Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times. Qualifications: * At least 3 years of veterinary experience. * Surgical experience required. * Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately. * Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions. * Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
