Our whole-building EMS platform is a new approach to controlling, managing, and optimizing energy in commercial buildings. Analyze expected savings at prospective sites for customers and partners. Defend results in presentations to the management team. Research and model site economics, operating strategies, and enrollment procedures for demand response programs in multiple markets. Specify improvements to our utility tariff analysis engine. Specify improvements to our control algorithms. Run site simulations of different hardware configurations, control strategies, load control programs, and tariff choices. Skills & Qualifications Quantitative understanding of energy economics and energy systems Bachelor’s degree required (energy systems, engineering, economics, data science, statistics, operations research, mathematics, or similar) Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis and data visualization in Python; you wake up wondering what new tricks you can make pandas dataframes and matplotlib do SQL skills are a plus Strong economics and time‑series analysis experience required. You will be modeling complex utility tariffs beginning in Week 1, so that should appeal to you.
