Facilities & Operations Coordinator
Ouzinkie Native Corporation
SUMMARY Katmai Wilderness Lodge is seeking a highly capable, organized, and self-motivated Facilities & Operations Coordinator for our 2027 season. This is a hands-on and highly trusted position responsible for helping maintain the readiness, appearance, organization, and day-to-day functionality of our remote wilderness lodge. The Facilities & Operations Coordinator works across nearly every area of the property and plays an important behind-the-scenes role in ensuring both lodge operations and the guest experience run smoothly. The Facilities & Operations Coordinator is entrusted with significant responsibility for the condition and operational readiness of Katmai Wilderness Lodge. The position requires someone who can be given responsibility for an area and take ownership of it, recognizing what needs to be done without requiring a checklist or reminder for every individual task. This is an excellent position for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping things organized and operating correctly, and is comfortable moving between guest-facing responsibilities, property maintenance, logistics, equipment, and general lodge operations. No two days at KWL are exactly alike. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage waste collection and assist with preparation of materials for aircraft and barge backhaul.

• Support aircraft arrival/departure, guest luggage, freight, and backhaul operations.
• Maintain outdoor areas, grounds, trails, decks, and other guest-facing spaces.
• Monitor facility supplies and basic operational systems and communicate developing needs or concerns to the Lodge Manager.

• prepared before it is needed, and developing problems are identified early.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
