Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in the Operating Room required. License: Active Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - Level 1 Trauma experience required. - Strong scrub and circulate skills in Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro. Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Nurse will work 5x8 shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. No block scheduling is offered. Call requirements include one shift a month on a Saturday or Sunday, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. There is no weekday call. Weekend requirements include working every other weekend, for a total of 2 weekends per month. The request for time off is limited to a maximum of 5 days, with no more than 2 consecutive days. No time off is permitted on holidays or the day before or after a holiday. The position requires floating within scope to meet facility needs. All resources are expected to float as needed at the facility's discretion. Candidates will float regularly across various units, including their primary competency. If floated outside of primary competency, a team-based care model will be implemented for support. Candidates may be requested to float outside of their home facility, provided the distance does not exceed 50 miles. Refusal to float may result in cancellation of the assignment. Two professional references are required prior to the start of employment, with one reference from the most recent employer. Candidates must be responsive and provide timely updates for all required items. Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an assignment. Modules are required to be completed before the start date and are non-billable. Any additional modules completed while on assignment are billable.
