Details ICU position within an acute care hospital setting Must be comfortable floating to PCU and Med/Surg (MS) units as needed MS float ratios are 1:7 Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00) 36-hour weekly work commitment 4 weekend shifts required per schedule period No on-call responsibilities 13-week contract Requirements Active TN or compact RN license required Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs) Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside the provision of patient care Local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-723633.
