Requirements High School Diploma or GED Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration or related field required Equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience may be considered Three (3) years of patient experience and/or healthcare quality experience preferred Experience in performance improvement and/or project management preferred Comfortable with data and metrics as part of quality improvement Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred Ability to meet people with ease Ability to write and edit effectively Ability to communicate the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, and/or authority when necessary Good organizational skills, well disciplined, able to meet deadlines, self‑started, able to work under pressure of many priorities and deadlines Ability to keep information confidential Summary The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and ongoing development of the hospital‑wide QAPI program to enhance patient care, patient safety, and patient outcomes. This position will serve as the primary patient advocate and interact with department leaders and members of the Medical Staff to develop public awareness of available services offered by the organization. This position will report to the CEO. Responsible for planning and implementing the performance improvement program to meet the needs of the organization in accordance with the SVH QAPI Plan Maintain and update the SVH QAPI Plan annually Facilitate and document performance improvement activities Manage quality data to leadership team and board of directors as directed by CEO Assist in Peer Review Program as applicable and in collaboration with CEO and Chief of Staff Provide training in quality assurance & performance improvement processes Perform quality review for isolated and systemic processes Review and conduct follow up for all patient complaints when not resolved by department leaders or when received via written communication Report any patient grievances to the appropriate governing body Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations pertinent to a QAPI program Ensure compliance with all quality related reporting, including but not limited to, HCAHPS and other state and federal programs Assist in survey preparedness including conducting mock surveys #J-18808-Ljbffr Kids for the Future
