Systems EngineerImmediate need for a talented Systems Engineer with experience in the Telecom Industry. This is a 6+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Ashburn, VA.Please review the job description below.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop cost optimized solutions for cloud environment for enterprise applicationsDevelop reusable architecture components to enable HA availability and Disaster needs.Develop IaaS automations to deploy and manage infra services.Automate cloud onboarding and frameworks for cloud migrationsAutomate installation of applications, programs and system componentsMigration of non standard OS to standard OS (Linux and windows env)Develop and implement Day 2 optimization planKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Experience with Linux and windows environment in enterprise applicationsExperience in common infra services like compute, storage and load balancingExperience integrating CICD pipeline with automated test scriptsExperience with cloudformation, terraform orchestration tool.Scripting Languages like bash, Perl, PythonKnowledge of Implementation Tools like Puppet and AnsbileStrong experience using deployment and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Stash, Jira, Ant, Maven, etcApplication log management tools like logstash, splunk, etcExperience in common middleware components weblogic, jboss, apache and other open source web technologiesStrong debugging skills and identifying root causesDesign HA architecture for availability and performanceExposed to Information Security with Corporate and Regulatory guidelinesDesired: Certified in Oracle cloud OR AWSDesire: Redhat Linux or Windows certificationsOur client is a leading Telecom Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
