Safety Manager

We are a nationwide construction services firm specializing in the development of wireless communication sites, with a focus on supporting telecom networks. We are contracted by major carries to facilitate network upgrades including conversions from 4G to 5G. Our services include construction management, electrical and civil modernization, antenna and line (A&L) tower work, tower maintenance, fiber optic network deployment, commissioning and integration, directional boring, trenching, and excavating. Our expertise spans a wide range of projects. We are looking to hire a Safety Manager to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across telecommunications projects. This role develops safety policies, conducts inspections, investigates incidents, and provides training to reduce workplace risks and ensure regulatory compliance. In this role, you will: Develop and implement Safety programs and procedures and documenting processes with the organization. Responsible for the quality control audits of all installation and repair work ensuring safety compliance as outlined by company and OSHA directives. Review potential subcontractor safety policies, procedures, and safety performance Ensure the Safety Plan is understood and implemented by all Project Managers and subcontractors. Conduct accident investigations and incident reports as needed. Develop and conduct employee safety and health training programs Conduct detailed site safety and health inspections Manage project security contracts, programs and policies Write detailed injury/illness reports Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Safety Manager in cell site deployments and the telecom industry Experience as a Tower Climber/Technician Strong knowledge of OSHA Federal Regulations, state and local safety regulations, policies and procedures (Required) Must be fully proficient MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook (Required) Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment Excellent organizational and motivational skills Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
