Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide expert emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and recovery. Deliver immediate assessment, intervention, and support to patients presenting with urgent and acute conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival, establishing urgency and plan of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions based on physician orders and patient condition.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, procedures, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7pm to 7am.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
