Position Summary Sam's Club #4817 located at 5940 Trussville Crossings Pkwy, Trussville, AL 35235-8607 Full‑time position, hourly wage $17.00 – $25.00/hr* (actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location). Shifts may vary. Responsibilities Team Member : Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications for prepared food merchandise and collaborate with cross‑functional teams; educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and remain flexible to business needs. Expert : Prepare food to item specifications, plan for future and mass production, anticipate seasonality, and enforce food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management standards. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution. Techie : Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. Leverage handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage their use. Owner : Drive performance for the area, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date‑control standards, eliminate waste, provide member service, recognize and respond to member needs, and resolve member issues. Talent Ambassador : Represent the brand, inspire others, support a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented work style, identify roadblocks, and assist in training. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, including the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments and priorities using data and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
