Job Description

Harmony House Care Home is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Part-Time Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to elderly residents in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). The ideal candidate will be attentive, patient, and committed to ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of all residents.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration monitoring
Monitor and report any changes in residents’ physical or mental condition
Ensure a safe and clean living environment
Assist with medication reminders (as permitted by RCFE regulations)
Support residents during recreational and social activities
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with staff and management

Qualifications

Prior experience in caregiving, assisted living, or healthcare preferred
Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently

Requirements

Current First Aid & CPR Certification
Background check clearance (Live Scan)
TB test clearance
Ability to lift and assist residents as needed

Schedule

Flexible part-time shifts (including evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed)

Compensation
