Teller/Customer Service Representative

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provides quality customer service by opening deposit accounts such as checking, savings, time deposit, safe deposit boxes, etc., assisting customers with the institution’s digital banking application as well as issuing debit cards, understanding customer’s needs and aligning with available products and services, and solving routine customer problems efficiently. Experience is preferred.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

1. Provides exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assessing customer needs. Answers questions regarding Bank products and services with confidence.
2. Open deposit accounts such as checking, savings, time deposit, safe deposit boxes, etc.
3. Assist customers with the institution’s digital banking application as well as issue debit cards.
4. Makes appropriate customer referrals to appropriate Banking staff.
5. Effectively handles basic customer problems and inquiries as well as ensuring that resolution and follow-up are completed in an accurate, efficient manner.
6. Controls risk to the Bank. Adheres to prescribed security controls to protect the staff and facility against criminal activity and fraudulent operations.
7. Perform services such as ordering checks and debit card.
8. Participates in the general appearance of the office.
9. Acquires and retains knowledge in applicable regulatory requirements.
10. Pursue potential relationships with non-customers.
11. Promote and protect the bank’s interest at all times.
12. Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
13. Ensure customer privacy.
14. Performs additional responsibilities as required.

HOURS:

The applicant must be able to work the hours listed below. Schedule may vary within the listed hours of operation. Additional hours may be required for training, meetings or afterhours events when applicable.

Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday 8:00am – 5:00 pm

The primary location for this position is 2009 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42104
