Senior Claims Specialist - NYLL

My client, a leading TPA, is hiring for a Senior Claims Specialist to join their growing team. This individual will play a key role in handling complex and high exposure claims, with a primary focus on New York Labor Law matters. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of New York Labor Law claims from inception through resolution, including investigation, evaluation, and settlement Analyze coverage, determine liability, and establish appropriate reserves in accordance with company guidelines Handle bodily injury claims with a focus on severity, ensuring strong technical execution and timely resolution Partner with defense counsel to develop litigation strategies and drive favorable outcomes Evaluate exposure and negotiate settlements within authority levels Collaborate with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders to provide clear updates and maintain strong relationships Support claims involving construction defect and General Liability exposures as needed Qualifications 5+ years of claims handling experience within a TPA, carrier, or similar environment Deep expertise in New York Labor Law claims, including high exposure and litigated matters Strong background handling bodily injury claims Experience with construction defect and General Liability claims preferred Active New York adjuster's license required Proven ability to manage a complex caseload with strong attention to detail and organization Excellent communication and negotiation skills Why This Role This is an opportunity to join a highly respected TPA platform with a strong reputation in the market.
