Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication skills as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. This part-time contract position offers fulfilling work over three days per week at a welcoming school setting close to Santa Rosa and Petaluma, California. Your expertise will play a significant role in enriching the lives of students and supporting their academic journey.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
  • Comfortable working with diverse student populations across various age groups
  • Proficient in conducting speech-language assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering effective, individualized therapy
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work closely with educators, staff, and families
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges in students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Educate students, staff, and families about strategies to support communication skills in the school environment
