INTAKE COUNSELOR - PRN (MASTERS DEGREED)

The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a PRN Intake Counselor for our Admissions Department.

The Intake Counselor  is responsible for managing all aspects of the intake and admission process at The Vines Hospital, including handling inquiry calls, coordinating with referral sources, assessing patient needs, and  facilitating the admission of individuals. They ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and that patients receive the  appropriate care recommendations. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures .

We are located in picturesque Marion County, FL. The county is known as the Horse Capital of the World. Enjoy the outdoors at one of the county’s serene parks, which includes wonderful hiking trails, river rafting, and tubing. Watch the county’s wildlife and view the scenery by taking a horseback ride through one of the area’s riding trails. Hours: This position is a PRN status role (as needed basis).A PRN staff member in order to remain active, they must work at least three (3) twelve hour shifts per month, one of which must be a weekend shift. Avaliable shifts are; Days 7am - 7pm or Nights 7pm - 7am.

Requirements:

• This position requires a minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related behavioral health field.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred. Previous assessment experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification
