Job Overview Seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist responsible for providing high-quality patient care, promoting oral health, and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. The role involves ensuring a comfortable, safe environment and supporting the dental team. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth. Conduct patient assessments, medical histories, and oral examinations. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA. Apply aseptic techniques to ensure infection control. Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure workflow efficiency. Operate dental equipment safely and effectively. Stay informed about advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Experience & Skills Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist; familiarity with Dentrix is a plus. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Proficiency in aseptic techniques to maintain sterility. Experience assisting in dental procedures is advantageous.
