Job Opportunity: Gastroenterologist

Our organization is actively searching for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to become a part of our team in the Des Moines metropolitan area. As the largest physician-owned gastroenterology practice in Iowa, we provide an outstanding blend of work-life balance, robust clinical support, and a rapid pathway to partnership and ownership of our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), all situated in one of the Midwest's most rapidly expanding cities.

Established for over 50 years, our independent practice offers a comprehensive range of gastroenterology services, including:

• General Gastroenterology
• Colon Cancer Screening and Prevention
• IBD Management
• Hepatology
• Advanced Endoscopic Procedures

We prioritize high-quality, evidence-based care while ensuring the operational flexibility and decision-making independence that comes with private practice ownership. A standout feature of our practice is the integrated ASC model, which facilitates efficient procedural scheduling, operational effectiveness, and an improved patient experience.

Position Highlights:

• Open to both General Gastroenterologists and Advanced Endoscopists (IBD expertise is a plus)
• Collaborative team consisting of 10 Gastroenterologists and 9 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Equal call schedule: 1:9 with weekend coverage
• Nurse Practitioners available for clinic visits and assistance with call/inpatient rounding
• Average daily volume of approximately 14-16 procedures
• Fast track to partnership and ASC ownership
• Access to an infusion center, research programs, and pathology revenue streams
