Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures. The RN will assess patients, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and administer appropriate care.
• Manage emergency medical situations and stabilize patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately and use Meditech for patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Active RN license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
