Aerospace Manufacturing Buyer Van Nuys, CA | Direct Hire | DOE Join a leading aerospace manufacturing company and play a key role in sourcing electronic components, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring materials are available to support production and on-time customer deliveries. Key Responsibilities Source and purchase electronic components and manufacturing materials Create and manage purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred) Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier agreements Monitor material shortages and expedite orders as needed Collaborate with Program Managers, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams Maintain supplier performance and identify cost‑saving opportunities Support customer delivery commitments through proactive material planning Qualifications 3–5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience Manufacturing experience required (contract manufacturing preferred) ERP/MRP experience; Epicor highly preferred Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis) Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans #J-18808-Ljbffr AppleOne Employment Services
