Job Description
Med Surg RN needed for a 13 week contract assignment. You must live 75+ miles away from the facility to work on a contract basis at this facility (no exceptions).
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Common diagnosis: stroke, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, general med surg, pneumonia, pulmonary issues.


Qualifications:
• Current and clear NY State RN license
• BSN preferred.
• 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last 3 years.
• Specialty Equipment- IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes
• Required drips & Medications - Heparin drips, Lasix, Bumex and blood administration
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be needed.
• NIHSS
