The Courtyard by Marriott, situated on CMU’s campus, is seeking an evening Bistro Attendant/Bartender to assist with bar and dining services at their on-site restaurant, The Bistro. If you are enthusiastic about food and beverage and dedicated to providing exceptional guest service and hospitality, we are excited to hear from you!

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for promoting and ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, courteous, and quality bar/restaurant services.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

• Promote and ensure guest satisfaction 
• Money handling
• Basic cleaning duties to maintain bistro and kitchen area
• PM service includes tending bar, mixing drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction 
• Prepare and present food to guests’ expectations
• Safe food handling

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate, listen, stand for long periods of time, ability to walk, kneel, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including nights and weekends.
