Investment Banking Associate

Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a Investment Banking Associate for an organization specializing in Financial Services. This is an opportunity to gain unparalleled exposure to M&A advisory, capital raising, and strategic advisory services for clients across numerous industries..

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the development of complex financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and trading comps), and industry research. Support the execution of M&A transactions, debt and equity financings, and strategic advisory engagements. Assist in drafting investment memoranda, pitch books, and other client presentation materials. Conduct due diligence, coordinate with legal and accounting advisors, and manage transaction workstreams. Act as a key point of contact for clients, senior bankers, and external stakeholders. Supervise and mentor Analysts, ensuring accuracy and high-quality deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years of experience in investment banking or private equity with a strong background in financial analysis and deal execution. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus. Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior leadership. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
