Welder - Hiring Now in Caddo Mills

Position Overview We are seeking a Tig Welder to fit, join, and repair metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques in accordance with product specifications and production schedules. Responsibilities Work general hours of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with adjustments as needed to meet production requirements. Perform welding duties using a TIG welder. Use welding equipment to join steel components in accordance with layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions. Collaborate with others to assist in welding multi‑component parts. Inspect and correct welds to meet product specifications. Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and work orders. Show willingness to cross‑train and perform additional job tasks beyond the primary assignment. Communicate with management for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues. Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness, perform basic preventive maintenance, and suggest improvements. Complete required safety procedures before and during operations. Qualifications Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Ability to read a tape measure and caliper. Ability to operate a forklift. Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings. Proficiency in basic shop math, including fraction to decimal conversion. Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed. Ability to implement or respond to change effectively. Safety‑conscious behavior. Excellent attendance record. Work Requirements Lift, carry, push, and/or pull heavy items. Squat, kneel, bend, twist, grasp, and reach overhead and outward. Stand and walk for 1–12 hours per day, up to 6 days a week. Work in a non‑temperature‑controlled environment.
