CMM Programmer/Operator

Quality Assurance Inspector in Wichita, KS This position is currently accepting applications. Job Responsibilities Use CMM and other precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and surface plate inspection methods to perform dimensional inspections Perform in-process and final inspection in support of production activities Approve in-process production by confirming specifications Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLC Position Requirements Skills Required Efficient with CMM software - PC DMIS ++ Skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height guages and surface plate inspection techniques Ability to read blueprints and interpret customer specifications and standards Thorough knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office Self-motivated and well organized Reasonable verbal and written communication skills Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization Must pass yearly Inspector Vision Exam Education and Experience Required High School diploma or GED. 2 years experience operating, programming PC DMIS ++ software Experience with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, etc. Minimum 1 year of experience in the Aerospace Industry.
