Is that you?Jockey is seeking an AssociateAnalyticsEngineer to join our Enterprise Analytics Team!The Associate Analytics Engineer provides clean data sets to end users, modeling data that enables end users to answer their data questions. This role is responsible for transforming, testing, deploying, and documenting data within the data lake. The engineer will apply software engineering best practices such as version control and continuous integration to the analytics code base. This role is expected to collaborate with business users, analysts, and other engineering resources to build out enhanced data capabilities that drive improved business outcomes.JOB EXPECTATIONSWork within data science, core platform engineering, to develop data pipelines in SQL and python that acquire, process, and deliver data to end users across Jockey.Build and maintain dashboards, reporting, and self-service analytical tools using platforms such as Tableau or SigmaCollaborate with different stakeholders, such as, data scientists, ML engineers, analysts, and business users to understand data use cases and requirements.Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting and analytical environmentsExpand our data warehouse with clean data, ready for analysis or downstream ML use cases.Optimize SQL queries to ensure optimal performance and adherence to data governance and quality standards.Translate business requirements into technical specifications.Continuously learn and apply new analytical tools, technologies, and business knowledgeSupport ongoing improvements to reporting processes, analytical capabilities, and data architectureOther job duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSREQUIRED:Internship, academic project, or professional experience involving data analysis, business intelligence, or analyticsWorking knowledge of SQL and experience querying and analyzing dataExperience building dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Power BI or similar platformsStrong analytical skills and an active problem solverDemonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyAbility to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPREFERRED:Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems or a related quantitative fieldExposure to dbt or other modern data transformation frameworksExposure to cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar technologiesExperience with data modeling, reporting, or statistical analysis through coursework, internships, or prior work experienceExperience working with supply chain, retail, apparel, consumer goods, or manufacturing dataIn return for your expertise, JOCKEY offers a competitive and comprehensive flexible benefits package which includes Medical/Dental/Life/Vision, 401(k), educational support, paid Volunteerism program, fitness club discounts, onsite health & wellness programs, generous employee discounts, a business casual work environment, a challenging work environment and exciting career growth opportunities!Job SummaryRequisition Number: DEMAN010078Job Category: Corporate PlanningSchedule: Full-Time
