Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Nursing)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. This role is essential in providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment.ResponsibilitiesDeliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Monitor and assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment.Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Operating Room or surgical nursing specialty.Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure setting.Work ScheduleThe schedule varies from 7 AM to 5 PM, with the requirement to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).Unit InformationThe Ground Floor Surgery unit operates 24/7 with a case volume ranging from 28 to 55 surgeries per day. Our service lines include Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, General Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery.
