FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)

Position: Food Service Worker (Full‑time) Location: Carondelet - 1171 West Target Range Road, Nogales, AZ 85621 Schedule: Full‑time. Days and hours may vary based on staffing needs. Pay: $15.45 per hour (fixed) Job Summary Prepares, presents and serves food as needed in a patient‑centered environment. This role supports daily meal service for patients, caregivers, and community members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure designated ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment and utensils. Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment. Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor. Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures. Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Preferred: prior cash handling and food service experience. Ability to work flexible hours and handle physical demands of food service operations.
