Registered Nurse - General Surgery

Provides independent and complex nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation to care for patients, addressing their psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs. Key Responsibilities: Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources. Delegates tasks appropriately to other care providers to manage clinical situations effectively. Addresses complex patient needs in line with professional standards and competencies. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred. Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Part-time role with multiple shift options, focusing on developing clinical skills and managing patient care independently. #J-18808-Ljbffr
