Position: Cytologist


Location: Tucson, AZ


Schedule: Full-time (DAYS)

We are looking for an experienced Cytologist to join a highly skilled team at a cutting-edge medical center. You'll work in rotation with other cytologists, performing screenings for samples while also utilizing digital cytology. This is a great opportunity to directly impact patient diagnostic care in a state-of-the-art laboratory.


Responsibilities:

• Provide Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) and adequacy assessments for FNA procedures, including EBUS, ENB, and robotic-assisted procedures.
• Screen NGYN and FNA samples to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
• Perform digital cytology as part of advanced diagnostic processes.

Job Requirements

• Completion of a cytotechnology program from a CAAHEP school
• ASCP certification or eligibility
• A Bachelor's degree
• Ability to achieve 90% on an internal proficiency test during the interview.
• Must pass annual CAP-PT (or approved alternative) and maintain proficiency on quarterly GYN CAP mailings.
• 24 continuing education credits required annually.
