Flexible Day Shift | No On-Call Required

Position Overview
Seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist licensed in Ohio to provide on-site psychiatric services on a part-time basis within a correctional healthcare setting. The schedule is flexible based on facility needs, with core hours generally between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
The selected provider will typically see 12–16 patients per 8-hour shift. This assignment is expected to last a minimum of 6 months and may lead to a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
•    Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services 
•    Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and documentation in an electronic health record system 
•    Manage and monitor psychiatric medications 
•    Order and interpret diagnostic testing as needed 
•    Make referrals for specialized treatment or additional care 
•    Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams 
•    Participate in quality improvement activities and peer reviews 
•    Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, and scope of practice requirements 

Qualifications
•    Active Ohio Medical License 
•    Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry 
•    Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR Certification 
•    DEA Certification preferred (required prior to assignment start) 
•    Strong clinical and documentation skills 
•    Experience in behavioral health and/or correctional healthcare preferred
