Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and devise customized therapy strategies that empower them to meet their personal functional goals.
• Deliver Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside occupational, physical, and speech therapists, as well as physicians and nurses, to ensure all-encompassing care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families in therapy techniques to facilitate ongoing recovery and progress outside of clinical settings.
• Monitor Progress: Keep meticulous records of clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on their intended path to recovery.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for continuing education and post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
