RN Charge NICU FT Nights

Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Frisco at PGA Parkway Opportunity to lead nursing care at our new 340,000 square foot facility in Frisco, Texas, which includes emergency, inpatient, procedural, women and children units. Location: 7600 Better Way, Frisco, Texas Shift: Full-time nights, 12-hour shifts Required experience: 3 years in the NICU with a minimum of 2 years as Charge RN (charge experience from other units acceptable). Job Summary Registered Nurse Charge oversees patient care, follows nursing regulations, fulfills organization priorities, and enhances responsibilities to promote mission. The main tasks involve evaluating patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, creating personalized care plans, and assessing patient responses. What You’ll Do Utilize nursing judgement and reasoning to make precise health assessments aligned with standard practices. Review nursing procedures and use research to make changes. Demonstrate caring practices by addressing emotional and physical discomfort to foster healing and prevent excess distress. What Will Make You Successful Familiarity with nursing and patient care protocols and practices. Proven communication skills in both speech and writing. Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Minimum of 2 years of registered nurse experience.
