What You’ll Do: As an AVO TACO Prep Cook, you’ll help set the kitchen up for success by preparing fresh ingredients and keeping the kitchen organized and running smoothly. You’ll: Prep with purpose! Wash, chop, slice, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and company standards. Keep it fresh! Ensure all food is properly labeled, stored, rotated, and maintained for freshness and quality. Stay organized! Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary prep area while following food safety and sanitation standards. Support the team! Assist cooks and kitchen teammates with prep needs throughout the shift. Work efficiently! Complete prep lists, stock stations, and help keep the kitchen prepared for busy service periods. Take pride in consistency! Follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure every guest gets the same great experience. Be a team player! Jump in where needed and help create a positive kitchen environment. Requirements What You’ll Bring to the Table Skills & Knowledge: A passion for food, a strong work ethic, and basic culinary knowledge. Attention to Detail: The ability to multitask while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality. Physical Stamina: Comfort performing physical tasks like bending, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs during shifts. Reliability: The ability to work independently or follow specific directives with consistency.
