Licenses/Certs: Valid RN license in Louisiana, BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in emergency nursing

What You'll Do

Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients.
Assess patient condition and prioritize care based on acuity.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions aligned with best practices.
Utilize the nursing process to evaluate patient progress and modify care as needed.
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions.
Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
Maintain compliance with all safety and healthcare regulations.

What You Need Required:

Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS certification
CPI certification
ACLS and PALS certifications
Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
Proficiency with healthcare software and web-based applications
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in nursing
Certification in clinical specialty areas
Additional relevant certifications or training
