The Hand Placer is an associate-level position that plays a key role in supporting production by carefully placing parts for processing in our manufacturing operations. This role is designed for individuals who are dependable, eager to learn, and committed to developing their skills and character. While the job has physical demands, it also provides opportunities to grow into more technical and advanced positions within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Place parts accurately and consistently according to safety and quality standards.
- Monitor work area to ensure efficiency and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Follow safety procedures at all times when working around heavy machinery.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.
- Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn new skills.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Work around heavy machinery with moving parts.
- Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and noise.
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures.
- Standing, bending, and repetitive hand placement throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethics, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow safety rules and instructions carefully.
- No prior manufacturing experience required. Training is provided.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
