Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Description Direct Support Professionals serve individuals with disabilities by assisting with personal cares such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and hygiene, providing mobility support and transfer assistance, supporting transportation and community outings, administering medication, performing housekeeping and cleaning duties, and preparing meals. Full‑time options include every‑other weekend and 30 or more hours/week, which is considered full‑time and eligible for benefits. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED. Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and handle postural challenges such as bending, kneeling, and twisting. Ability to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check.
