Medical Technologist / MLT – Temporary Position
Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens.
- Set up testing procedures and manage laboratory workload.
- Evaluate patient and quality-control results and enter results into the laboratory information system.
- Follow critical result notification procedures.
- Prepare and maintain reagents and laboratory supplies.
- Maintain inventory and safely dispose of biohazardous and chemical materials.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
- May provide backup support to the phlebotomy team, including venipuncture and culture collection.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of MLT experience.
- Experience with Sunquest and Epic.
- Experience with Ortho Blood Bank and Chemistry.
- Experience with Siemens coagulation and urinalysis.
- Experience with Sysmex hematology.
- Active ASCP certification.
