NOW HIRING!! A-Line is seeking a detail-oriented Business Support Specialist to support mortgage operations within a fast-paced Retail and Correspondent Lending environment. This role partners closely with Loan Officers, Mortgage Lenders, and internal operational teams to ensure the accurate processing and maintenance of loan lock information while supporting pricing initiatives, reporting, and operational compliance.

Location: Glen Allen, VA or Franklin, TN
Pay: $21-$23/hour (based on experience)

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Fully onsite during training
• Hybrid schedule available after training (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

Position Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with mortgage industry experience who enjoy analytical work, problem-solving, and working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Process loan lock updates, relocks, extensions, rate changes, renegotiations, and other lock maintenance activities.
• Ensure all lock requests comply with established pricing guidelines and eligibility requirements.
• Support testing, validation, and documentation for pricing and eligibility rule updates.
• Generate and maintain operational reports to support Lock Desk activities.
• Perform quality reviews and audit support to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Loan Officers and internal business partners to resolve loan lock and pricing issues.
• Manage multiple shared email inboxes while responding to requests accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate loan data through timely data entry and system updates.
• Assist with process improvements and operational initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Previous mortgage industry experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical aptitude, including the ability to work confidently with:

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality internal customer service.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred

• Experience supporting mortgage lock operations.
• Familiarity with mortgage pricing concepts.
