Project Control Analyst

CGI Federal Inc is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Controls Analyst to support our NASA CPSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) to independently monitor and analyze program status for various programs. This role provides ongoing support in all areas of project control and business management, including performance measurement and improvement initiatives. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Your future duties and responsibilities include: monitoring and assessing program status regularly, delivering real time insights and support; providing comprehensive data management and analysis across all project control functions; supporting performance measures, improvements, and business management strategies; assisting during the PPBE process and participating in resolving performance issues; conducting complex evaluations of procedures, processes, techniques, models, and systems related to management problems or contractual matters, preparing reports and recommending solutions; establishing and maintaining cost/schedule baselines, developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and related dictionaries, and determining Estimates At Completion (EAC); demonstrating thorough understanding of financial policies relevant to project management; and preparing projections, analyzing requirements, and performing detailed data analysis as needed.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role include a BS/BA, 15+ years of experience, strong analytical, reporting, and problem solving abilities, proficiency in tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, and Microsoft Project, familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, and NASA experience preferred. Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. Experience using software like Empower/wInisght, Cobra, SharePoint, and Excel are highly desired. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications are desirable.
