Dishwasher

Position Summary The Dishwasher position is responsible for properly cleaning, sanitizing, and storing restaurant equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This includes restocking cleaning chemicals, organizing supplies, promptly removing trash, and keeping the dishwashing area orderly and sanitary at all times. Key Responsibilities Operate the dishwashing machine and ensure proper use of cleaning agents. Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand when necessary. Ensure all clean items are properly stored and readily available for back and front of house staff. Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and trash areas as needed. Take out kitchen garbage regularly. Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by health codes and company policies. Notify management of any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns. Assist in food prep or other kitchen duties as needed. Other duties as assigned. No previous experience required, but prior kitchen or janitorial experience is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods of time. Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Team player with a positive attitude.
