The Logistics Supervisor leads the day-to-day execution of logistics operations with a focus on building a safe, disciplined, and high-performing work environment. Responsibilities Put safety first – Always! Lead and foster our “people first” culture. Ensure compliance with all safety rules, company policies, and government regulations Help maintain a work environment that exceeds all applicable standards Drive a safety-first culture, including having a workplace that is clean and organized Develop and drive the continuous improvement culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity Develop a high-performance team culture through focus on clear results, employee development, ownership, and accountability Daily management of all personnel (M-F teams) working in the kitting area, including employee development, coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed. Leverage data and business priorities when assigning team activities and projects Coordinate the organizational and operational activities in the kitting area Effective cross‑functional communication and collaboration to achieve business objectives Lead finished goods yard strategy to achieve maximum storage and shipping efficiency Oversee shipping office activities and team Assist Supply Chain to resolve inventory discrepancies in the finished goods yard Communicate and coordinate with forklift repair shop to ensure equipment is available to support daily, weekly and monthly goals Partner and collaborate with operational peers to execute business plan Other duties as assigned Direct Reports Manage and provide ongoing performance, coaching, and professional development opportunities for a team including Logistic Technicians, Kitting Line associates, Side Table Teams, and Logistics Coordinators. Job Location Winchester, Virginia, United States Position Type Full‑Time/Regular Experience We are looking for leaders with a high school diploma, 5+ years of logistics experience, and knowledge of RF Smart. Salary Base Salary Range: $80,000–$95,000 annually The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary. At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
