What You'll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews with inmates
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on client needs and functioning levels
• Document treatment and evaluations thoroughly in healthcare records
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques
• Support inmates with appropriate mental health interventions tailored to their needs

What You Need

• Active California LCSW or LPCC license
• U.S. citizenship (for ICE clearance)
• Ability to start as soon as ICE clearance is received (expected 4-6 weeks)

• Prior mental health counseling experience, especially in correctional or institutional settings
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
