Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.Job DescriptionPerforms various shipping duties accurately and efficiently to help meet and exceed on-time shipping, shipping accuracy and shipping efficiency goals.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPacks a wide range of products using proper shipping materials and techniques to ensure all items are protected during shipping for both domestic and international shipmentsIdentifies orders that require priority shipping and utilizes most appropriate cost effective methods (NDA, Ground, FTL, etc)Assists with picking orders, stacking product on pallets, wrapping pallets, applying shipping labels, loading trucks, kitting, and pick zone replenishment process.Communicates with other departments regarding challenges affecting the shipping department, priority shipments, or shipped productsProcesses orders accurately and in a timely manner using shipping software, generating required documentation for the selected shipping method.Follows forklift and powered pallet jack safety procedures including but not limited to pre trip, proper charging, operating, and warehouse barricading.Puts and picks pallets from warehouse racking using forkliftPartner with logistics and other departments on carrier changes, late pick ups, and troubleshooting problemsAssist other departments with one time shipping needs including ensuring proper documentation is completed including any hazmat declarationsAssist with truck unloading and storing parts in appropriate locationsMonitor and document shipping errorsCreate and send Daily Shipping Summary ReportFollows all company protocols, attendance policies, HR requirements and safety proceduresMaintains a safe, clean working environment.Sends advanced shipping notice to customers who require them, providing necessary information on the pending shipment using EDI, spreadsheets or e-mail.Schedules pickups when necessary, including full truck and LTL pickups providing all necessary shipping documentation, communicating delivery details to the customer when required and logging relevant informationDocuments current processes and suggests process improvementsMaintain and update data and records in shipping software, coordinating with other teams when necessaryInvoices orders producing all necessary packing slips, shipping labels, package identification labels, and documentation as required by customer, order type, and shipping method.Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisorSkills & KnowledgeHigh School Diploma or GED RequiredBasic computer skills – experience with AS400, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, UPS Worldship desiredCommunication skills – ability to communicate and work well with othersAccuracy-minded and detail-orientedMust be able to prioritize workload, work under pressure, and meet deadlinesMust be able to operate a forklift safely indoors and outdoorsPrevious shipping experience desiredPhysical RequirementsThis job requires you to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, reach overhead, perform strong pinch and grip, push-pull up to 100 lbs, and stand/walk up to 10 hours per day.Work EnvironmentA large percentage of work time is spent in a production warehouse where temperatures range from warm to cool and noise level can be moderate to high.Work ScheduleThe Battle Ground, WA location shipping department operates on a 4/10 work schedule Monday – Thursday, with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays or weekends as needed.The pay range for this position in Washington State is $21.01 to $25.71. Individual pay within those ranges is determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.Base Pay Range:$21.01 - $25.71Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Visa sponsorship will not be provided.
