Associate, Warehouse

Warehouse AssociateWe are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that all inbound products are received, outbound orders are selected, and products are stored correctly throughout the warehouse. You will be required to uphold the integrity of our food and warehouse safety procedures at all times, and support and train our volunteers whenever necessary.Duties and responsibilities include:Exemplifying the desired culture and philosophies of Feeding Tampa BayReceiving inbound products and ensuring that they are stored correctly.Selecting outbound orders accurately and efficiently.Storing products throughout the warehouse, ensuring that they are easily accessible.Following all food and warehouse safety procedures, including labeling, dating, and rotation of productsSupporting and training volunteers, ensuring they are aware of all procedures and able to carry out their dutiesMaintaining a clean and organized work areaHandling any issues that may arise, escalating to the Warehouse Manager when necessaryWilling to actively participate in mission-driven programs, such as food distribution initiatives and disaster relief operations as needed.This position is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or experience:Excel working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and demonstrate the ability to embrace the FTB's commitment to treat all people with equity and respect in pursuit of our mission to feed people in need and mobilize our community to eliminate hungerHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred.2 years of warehouse experience/training.Excellent time management skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamStrong attention to detailCertified to utilize forklifts, electric pallet jacks, Crown reach lift, and other warehouse equipmentFood safety certification is required; or, the willingness to complete within 30-days of employment.Lift, lower, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds continuously during shift.Able to bend, stoop, crouch, climb, stand, sit, walk, and turn/pivot throughout an 8-hour shift.Ability to read and write EnglishFlexibility to work weekends and holidays when requiredAll internal candidates must be in good standing with no corrective actions within the last 90 days.
