MORSE is seeking highly motivated and talented C++ Software Engineers to join our innovative team, supporting various projects that provide hardware-software interfaces, simulation, and real time capabilities to a diverse range of Department of Defense (DoD) customers.As a C++ Software Engineer at MORSE, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, contributing to the success of our applications and embedded software and making a meaningful impact on our customers. You will collaborate with a teams of engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability.Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using C++ and Python Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharingInterface with hardware including boards, sensors, cameras, GPS receivers, radios, and microcontrollersStay up-to-date with the latest software engineering trends, tools, and technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products, ensuring seamless integration and deploymentContribute to the development of new codebases that emphasize object-orientation, modularity, and maintainabilityRequirements:US citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or significant professional experience)5+ years of software development experienceExpertise in C++ and proficiency Python Strong understanding of hardware, embedded systems, and sensorsExperience with Docker, Docker-compose, or KubernetesFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and microservice architectureStrong communication skills and self-motivationExperience or desire to lead technical teamsMORSE Corp’s salary range for this role carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated. Depending on role eligibility, total compensation may also include bonus, stock, 401(k) match, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and life insurance.Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year. MORSE maintains an “open” leave policy that does not restrict exempt, regular full-time employees to a specific number of paid sick or vacation days.
